Graduate Consultant (20306)
Summary: Technical consultancy needs bright, recent PhD's as consultants to work on a range of e-commerce, information and communication projects for government and/or defence sectors, Surrey.
This growing technical consultancy provides technical and related management consultancy services to help customers make the best use of information and communications services. They offer challenging and rewarding work and the opportunity to work with some of the UK's brightest technical consultants in a stimulating environment.
These key appointments will work within a team on several assignments at a time, and most assignments last 3-6 months. Any experience or knowledge of the following will be useful but is not essential:
Programme/project management support; Procurement support (including PFI and outsourcing); IS/IT strategy development; Business analysis and requirements specification; IT/communication architecture development, including web-based architectures; Information security; and/or Knowledge management.
With excellent academic qualifications - you must have a PhD plus a 1st or 2.1 from a good university in computer science, physics, engineering or maths, plus top A level grades (ideally all A's but may consider 1 B grade if all others are A grade), you will good interpersonal, written and presentation skills. You will be expected to work on defence work from time to time and therefore, due to the nature of some of the work that is undertaken for government customers, this client is only able to consider UK nationals.
