Bio-instrumentation and Diagnostics Consultant (21704)
Our client is a well-established, Cambridgeshire-based consultancy, specialising in cutting-edge solutions in the engineering and life sciences sectors. Joining a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, you will enjoy developing novel tools and instrumentation for biological and medical-diagnostics users. Areas of focus will be broad, ranging from single cell analysis to molecular diagnostics, and much more besides!
Candidates should have a strong degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline (1st or 2.1) from a good university, together with postgraduate research or industrial experience in bio-instrumentation (or similar) development. Postgraduate qualifications are of an advantage, but not required given suitable experience. Candidates will be as comfortable working in a laboratory environment, as managing technical aspects of projects directly with clients. To succeed, you will also need to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and take charge of your own research projects, whilst working well in a team-focussed environment.
