Lead Ocular Scientist (Clinical Systems) (23120)

Due to new growth in medical device market, our client are strengthening their expertise on ocular / vision applications and seek an industry expert to work with their established team. The role will provide leadership and technical guidance on related projects, leveraging your background and industry knowledge.

Requirements:

• Extensive academic background including PhD level research in biomedical engineering or physics relating to vision science.
• Post-doctoral experience through academic work or commercial projects in ocular applications or ophthalmology from a physical science or engineering perspective.
• Demonstrable leadership experience including commercial acumen and delivering complex projects.
• Experience working under regulated standards ideally for medical devices.

Interested applicants must be natural problem solvers – providing analytical insight into highly complex, scientific / medical areas. Note this is a R&D role with the emphasis on product development and commercial applications.
