They are seeking a select few Scientists or Engineers to join their multi-disciplinary R&D team, and contribute to projects that will result in real-world products that help people and have real outcomes. Candidates should have commercial experience, built on the foundation of an excellent academic background (2.1 or above in science / engineering from a top-tier university; strong A-level grades too!).
Your commercial experience should be product-focussed (rather than niche academic research), and you’ll have a portfolio of tangible, practical products that you’ve contributed to. These should be ‘hands-on’ products (handheld / desktop) rather than ‘factory’ equipment (anything larger than a car is probably the wrong scale for this company), and multi-disciplinary in nature. Specific experience with any of: (bio)sensing, algorithm design, MEMS, control systems, optics, physical chemistry or electronics would be a big plus.
