QA / Test Engineers (23486)

Our client are leaders in their field and continue to develop new products to keep them there. They are currently looking for experienced Software QA / Test Engineers to work alongside developers.

As a tester on the team you will possess the skills and confidence to undertake the challenges of working in a fast paced environment, frequently be taken out of your comfort zone and relish getting your hands dirty testing their exciting products.

You will have the opportunity to become a trialist for products in other areas of the company and to run your own beta trials.

Attributes required:

• A competent tester with a few years of solid testing experience working in a software development team
• You continually seek new ways to challenge software
• You instinctively know when a situation calls for exploratory, scripted or automation testing
• You can name a few more test techniques and explain when they might be used
• You can identify when a test will make a good candidate for automation
• You have the confidence and experience to work independently and be self-directed
• You know what to do when you don’t know something

In addition to the above, they are looking for someone who…

• Is able to learn new technologies quickly
• Has experience working on embedded Linux systems
• Has some networking experience
• May have experience of automation testing
• May have experience of Python programming
