Senior FPGA Engineer (23511)

Our client is a bespoke scientific technology platform used by both the commercial and academic sectors. This platform is a combination of complex hardware, physics and software used to probe and provide novel insights into materials. The engineering team behind the design and development is looking for a Senior Engineer to join them to work on real-time control and high-performance data acquisition systems realised with FPGAs.

Requirements:

• 1st / 2.1 in Electronics or Physics with a high level of electronics. An advanced degree (ideally a PhD) would be desirable.
• Extensive experience with FPGAs including high-speed digital electronics, design (preferably with Xilinx) and knowledge of VHDL / Verilog.
• Experience with control or data acquisition systems.
• Beneficial would be experience with C and Python.

Preference is for UK based applicants with relocation expenses available for qualifying candidates. Further, as well as an excellent salary, there is a range of benefits.
