Due to growth, they are now seeking a bright, senior Scientist with both expertise in their own area and a broad scientific knowledge across the natural sciences. This will allow you to apply first principles to solving problems thrown up by cutting-edge product development. In addition, your knowledge will be coupled with a hands on and rigorous experimental approach.
Working within our client’s multidisciplinary teams on major development projects, you will be responsible for developing technical solutions for a range of products and processes in the consumer, healthcare, industrial and energy sectors.
For this challenging role, you’ll naturally have:
- An excellent education including a 1st/2.1 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Natural Sciences from a top tier University, followed by a PhD or similar postgraduate research
- Strong creative and technical abilities in a range of areas: physical principles, mechanics, optics, materials science, biomedical sciences, computational methods, analytical and experimental methods
- A track record of high quality publications or patents
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
