Senior Engineer - Software Instrumentation (23899)

This early-stage, ventured-funded spin-out company is at the forefront of a new technology area, implementing a multidisciplinary approach for biological analysis in real time. They are looking for an experienced software engineer to join their team to help drive their projects. A key area will be development of an user-friendly interface, allowing both consumer and professional users an intuitive approach for this hardware product.

Requirements:

• Industrial project experience with high level languages (Java, C# or C++) including multi-threaded applications development. A demonstrable track record to learn new technologies is expected.
• Exposure of low-level firmware for hardware products is highly desirable.
• Experience with Version Control Systems, and Continuous Integration.
• Any experience with Android platform internals would be desirable.

Degree qualifications are nice-to-have but relevant experience is far more important.

This is not your typical software role, and interested applicants should be interested in working with other disciplines. In return, an excellent remuneration package is available including share package, pension and flexible hours.
