Senior Electronics Engineer (24118)
This top Cambridge company produce innovative, sensor-laden smart devices, making use of the latest geospatial positioning technology. Their powerful, highly interactive systems offer interactive real-time visualisations, with applications from security and healthcare through entertainment. They are now seeking a skilled electronics engineer to join their team.
In this role you will have deep involvement across the full lifecycle for digital and analogue electronics and firmware; from design and prototyping through to EMC compliance and NPI / manufacture. As a senior engineer you will have more responsibilities for projects’ delivery and some involvement in project management.
Your CV will clearly show your:
- 1st or 2:1 in electronic engineering or a related subject, from a top university
- Commercial experience developing digital and analogue hardware
- Embedded systems (C, C++) experience
- Familiarity with bench test equipment
- Skill designing for testability and to address EMC, compliance and NPI
- Familiarity with source control and issue tracking
Additional experience of high speed FPGA design, wireless technology, microwave radio (RF), sensors, transport and application layer networking (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP), UI development, Linux and any additional programming languages (including assembler and scripting) would be beneficial.
