Graduate Engineer (24164)
Established and stable company wishes to dramatically increase their R&D team due to unprecedented product success. This position is for a Graduate Engineer to be involved with the R&D team from concept to production.
As a Graduate Engineer you will have some exposure to software systems sufficiently to prove a genuine interest in this area. Whilst a software degree is not essential for this Graduate Engineer position a 1st or 2.1 from a world leading university in a technical subject is a must (e.g. Maths, Physics or Electronics). This company’s products utilise a diverse variety of software technologies within their designs. Your involvement in their test development will take you in to the following areas:
- Modern approaches for building test frameworks
- The creation of new test cases for optimised testing
- Experience of TCP/IP, WAN or Cloud systems
- Setup and programming of Linux based systems
- Creating automated scripts in languages such as Python and Bash
- Experience of web technologies
The interview process will involve a software test in Python, C, C++ or Java, it is anticipated they will allow you to pick your strongest language.
