JavaScript / TypeScript: Front-end development (24169)

This established multi-national company develops core technologies used in time-critical ‘Big Data’ applications around the world. Their Cambridge office houses their software development team, delivering high-speed and reliable data processing and analysis tools. They are now seeking an experienced Front-end Developer, working with the newest JavaScript or TypeScript technologies, to join their expert team.

Successful CVs will need to demonstrate:

• A good degree (2.1 Hons with good A-levels) from a top-ranking university in Computer Science, or a related numerate subject;
• Commercial experience with JavaScript / TypeScript languages, including a good knowledge of the latest ECMA standards (at least ES6/ES2015);
• Strong software design skills, including knowledge of OO design principles and patterns;
• Front-end design experience, utilising common UI frameworks and tools for data visualisation;
• Exposure developing and deploying to cloud-based environments (such as AWS) would be a great bonus.
