Senior Software Engineer (Databases) (24209)

This established Life Science company have developed new technology to enable and quicken biological drug discovery. Part of the technology platform involves the analytics and data. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join them and support the development and design of database tools. The role is hands-on and would suit a technically minded problem-solver.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL (both design and implementation of databases).
• Broad ranging technical skills in: C#.NET, ORM, Windows applications development and OOD. Experience with NHibernate, SQLite / Oracle, LINQ would be desirable.
• Demonstrable project experience of code building, testing and troubleshooting would be desirable.

Experience with software development relating to large image files within a regulated industry (such as healthcare) would be an added bonus. Project and team experience is the primary screen for applications – academic performance attained years ago is less interesting.
