This established company develops software products used in distributed systems in the healthcare industry; this includes real-time biomarker monitoring for early diagnosis and disease prevention and next generation drug delivery devices to assist in life-improving treatments.

As a Software Developer in this company, you will work in close collaboration with a team of biologists, physicists, engineers and human factors designers to create truly user-centred software products that will improve healthcare.

You must have experience in designing user interfaces that are intuitive to use and yet display complex data in an easy-to-appreciate fashion. You will be able to demonstrate your personal contribution to software application development at all stages of the product cycle, from concept to completion including experimentation to refine the user experience.

Requirements:

• 1st / 2.1 degree in computer science or similar
• Experience developing user interface software across different platforms e.g. smartphone, tablet
• A genuine pride in creating elegant user interfaces in a timely manner
• An innovative and flexible approach to user experience with the ability to develop prototypes for experimentation and user testing

You will also be able to demonstrate good communication skills as befits the collaborative and empathetic nature of the projects.
