Lead Software Engineer / Architect (24614)

They currently are recruiting for a Lead Software Engineer to take a senior role within their technical team: providing team management for a small software team; creating a “good-practice-approach” environment for software development; and technical leadership on projects.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified – ideally in software, electronics, physics or similar. Preference is more advanced degree holders.
• Extensive industry project experience in software engineering including strong familiarity writing code in a Windows environment with portability to Linux and / or RTOS. Will be language agnostic, happy to write code in a variety of technologies with strong past experience using C / C++.
• Experience architecting software systems within a hardware environment including standards, testability, timescales and dealing with complexity.
• Experience managing a technical team (distributing tasks, constructing a development programme) and leading technical projects (version control, documentation, test).
