Data software start-up developing distributed architecture for connectivity

Currently in stealth-mode, this US founded company have secured seed investment and are growing their Cambridge, UK team. Their founders have decades of experience working on applied industry solutions intrinsic to connecting IoT securely and are looking to implement blockchain technologies embedded into cloud platforms. They are keen to recruit for this team and are looking for experienced, senior-level software engineers.

This is the embryonic conception of this Cambridge team, and so would suit someone who has start-up experience, enjoys working on truly greenfield software projects, as well as having the seniority to write well-engineered code including error handling and language structure.

Requirements:

Demonstrable Linux coding experience for industrial applications (will ideally have open source projects that they can share the code for review).
Broad technology experience including JavaScript and Python. Will possibly have good knowledge of C++, Java, or Golang.
Cloud technology experience including: SaaS / PaaS; REST APIs; Azure; DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker).
Experience with: distributed architecture: authentication; data storage.
Any experience with blockchain (Chaincode, Solidity); application level security concepts; or encryption would be desirable.

The team are keen to recruit “smart, clever team-players” who enjoy working on technically challenging projects and delivering high quality software. A degree in computer science is expected (although strong demonstration of complex software engineering experience would also be considered).

In return an excellent remuneration package is available which include substantial share options.
