Senior Hardware Design Engineer (24710)
Do you have a broad interest and ability to design electronics products?
You will be responsible for the design, development and testing of new hardware systems; covering analogue, small signal low power electronics to discrete component level and digital electronics at device level; incorporating technologies such as sensors, ARM based microcontrollers or SOMs, radio modules (BLE & Wi-Fi) and SMPS (<30W).
This well-established company is highly regarded across the globe as a design and manufacturer of modern commercial and domestic electrical systems. These are being brought up to date with 21st century controlling systems with wireless interconnections.
As the Senior Hardware Design Engineer you will have a good degree from a reputable university and have solid commercial electronics experience such as analogue, digital, power supplies design, embedded processors, CE certification and standards based functionality. In particular:
- Understanding of EMI & EMC and how to design-in with them
- Understanding of safety aspects both in products under design and daily tasks
- Design for testing (DFT), design for manufacturability (DFMA)
- Knowledge of EMC Directive, LVD and RED
