DevOps Group Leader (24768)

Working closely with Programme and Project Managers, Architects and Developers, the DevOps Group Leader will be responsible for a team providing build, software configuration management and application support. The role offers challenges across a wide variety of projects and responsibilities, including the opportunity to influence future direction of the systems and inspire both business stakeholders and developers.

Requirements:

• STEM degree qualified (ideally computer science) and at least 5 years’ relevant commercial experience.
• Line management experience working with a highly able technical team.
• Experience in DevOps including Linux administration, Docker, Jenkins, Oracle, networks, Ansible, CI / CD, Puppet, Chef.
• Further experience with Python, Shell Script, RedHat and web servers would be desirable.
