You’ll likely have a good degree in a STEM subject, with strong Python development skills and the determination to develop software to the highest standards within agreed timescales.
Key skills/experience:
- On-the-job experience of using Python to develop software applications
- Familiarity with both Python 2.7 and Python 3.x
- Working with a large existing codebase
- Automated testing and continuous integration
- Reporting, diagnosing and fixing software issues
- Using version control
- Adhering to coding standards
