Senior Consultant - Engineering (25105)

Take lead technical responsibility for the development of medical devices and healthcare products (from mechanical based disposables to bespoke, high-value electromechanical desktop instruments). This opportunity is with a leading engineering consultancy with a strong user-focused approach to their designs. Their Senior Consultants combine successful delivery of projects through project management and engineering know-how.

Requirements:

• Top degree qualified education including a background in mechanical engineering or mechatronics. Advanced degrees would be reviewed positively.
• Significant commercial experience with medical / healthcare products (or within a highly regulated industry).
• Demonstrable technical experience in systems engineering (design, definition and testing).
• Experience successfully delivering projects – ideally including exposure to manufacturing processes.

Experience as a technical consultant would be desirable and it would be expected that the successful candidate would have excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills. Further experience in mentoring, business development and developing long-term client relationships would be bonus.
