AWS Engineer, Experienced to Principal (25110)

If you’ve experience in the operations of large scale AWS cloud systems, whether your skillset is in operations or devops, this Cambridge-based role could be for you. Join a high-tech company founded on unique PhD research, going from strength to strength in their work with smart analytics systems, including geospatial data and for IoT. As their success drives them to expand further, they are looking for an AWS Engineer to join a growing and friendly team.

You’ll need strong commercial experience with AWS cloud operations to scale. You’ll have used Python (or similar) scripting to automate AWS deployments, either directly or via third party APIs. You’ll also work extensively with Linux and bash. You’ll also be happy to collaborate with technical people at high profile clients.

Part of your role will be to help advocate to keep up the company’s high standards in terms of AWS practices, including addressing scalability and reliability, working with developers and the quality team. You’ll also be focused on applying automation for deployments, monitoring and alert systems.
