Associate - Technical Sales (25116)
This Cambridge based team is the UK office for a multinational mathematical software company that supplied specialised modelling tools used by industry and academia. They are making significant in-roads into markets through their considered approach in sales. Their Sales team use a technical angle in their business development, understanding the key research and projects that their customers are undertaking – selling products to technical users.
As an Associate in their Technical Sales team, you would qualify sales leads by proactively work on sales campaigns. This can be through telephone calls, at onsite workshops or online demonstrations. The role sits between account managers, marketing and the technical team.
Requirements:
- BSc / MSc in a STEM subject.
- An interest in active sales, with demonstrable experience in how to build relationships for business development.
- A professional outlook – including being a confident communicator, strong time management and good organisational skills.
- Any experience with maths modelling tools such as computational physics simulations would be desirable.
This is an entry level role and would suit someone with the right profile (perhaps with a limited experience but who is keen to learn and develop their career in technical sales). Preference is for someone based in the Cambridge area or is open to relocating to the Cambridge area. Applicants must have full rights to work in the UK.
