Consultant Electronics Engineer (25140)
This growing, well established company provides technology solutions to a wide range of companies. This new role is for a Consultant Electronics Engineer to work on a broad spectrum of technically challenging projects within the aerospace and defence sector. As such, you must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance.
Whilst excellence in hardware / firmware design utilising high performance digital electronics is essential, you should be capable of thinking beyond the electronics design itself with an ability to analyse and solve system level problems / challenges a must. You should ideally have a broad spectrum of skills coupled with specialism in some of the following:
- High-speed digital electronic design
- Analogue electronics
- FPGA firmware
- RF design including antennas
- Signal processing and algorithm development
- Embedded software
- Power electronics
You must have at least a 2.1 in electronics engineering (or similar) from a highly ranked university and have an ability to work beyond the purely technical and to encompass the broader skills essential to a vibrant consulting business.
This is a key role to work in a technically challenging technical environment.
