Graduate Data Scientist (25171)
This early-stage company seeks a Graduate Data Scientist to join them. The company develops innovative diagnostic products in the area of psychological well-being and would be the perfect place for a numerate and sparky Graduate Data Scientist to start their career and contribute to advances in mental health.
The role involves analysing psychological study data to design and develop algorithms to be used for diagnoses. The subsequent models will be implemented in future products by a team of software developers. As the initial products go into the field, further datasets will be available for developing the accuracy of the models, leading to a clear improvement in patients’ outcomes. This is a role that could help make a vast inroad into diagnosis of the correct mental health condition.
Requirement:
- 1st / 2.1 degree qualification in a relevant quantitative subject from a well-ranked university
- Good knowledge of Python or R
- Project experience in quantitative data analysis including use of Python or R
- An interest in psychology and mental health care
Any experience with survey-style data sets would also be of interest.
