Software UX Product Designer (25288)
It’s a rare company which places software usability front and centre, and considers usability on equal footing with functionality, time and cost. If you’re an experienced UX professional looking to move to Cambridge, UK, this may be the role for you.
You’d join a number of top class product designers and UX specialists, working closely with development teams across multiple projects. Design is researched, iterative and very user-centric, and hence end user contact is frequent. You will sit and work with developers, product managers, quality coaches and technical writers and have the full backing of project leads in collaborative efforts to build great software.
You’ll need to turn your hand to both desktop and web user experiences in a range of product areas, primarily focused on technical software for skilled professionals rather than home users.
You’ll likely have studied usability, ergonomics or human factors, but your degree is not a primary here: you’ll need to be a usability person through and through, so it’s about what you know and how you can apply it, and your CV will reflect that. If this sounds like you, please do get in touch. A portfolio of your commercial UX work, highlighting your contribution, is a prerequisite.
Recommend for £250 – see www.ecmselection.co.uk/tell-a-friend for details.
