This leading technology consultancy works with blue chip clients worldwide. This group develops real world solutions, primarily to the aerospace and defence industries, encompassing commercial avionics and air traffic control systems as well as machine vision and optics for defensive applications. The projects are technically demanding, requiring a broad breadth of knowledge. This involves algorithm development, modelling of complex systems as well as experimental physics and data analysis. The successful Physicist will contribute at all stages of the project lifecycle and be keen to communicate well with the company’s clients to ensure a productive outcome.
You will have an excellent degree in Physics from a highly-ranked world-class university (with top A level grades too). Your CV will evidence keen commercial interest from post-degree work or relevant internships during your study. In addition, you will have all of the following:-
- Ability to hold UK security clearance
- Solid understanding of physics principles
- Excellent experimental skills
- Modelling of real-world systems using MATLAB or similar
