Senior Embedded Software Engineer (25481)

An early stage opportunity with a Cambridge company developing breakthrough audio technology that will make a real difference to people’s lives.

Our client combines the excitement of a start-up environment with secure funding, and they have further ambitious growth plans.

You’ll join as Senior Software Engineer in the product development team, working on the whole system from embedded C++ to the front-end UI. You’ll be involved in a broad range of technical challenges but will focus more on the embedded end of the software stack.

You’ll need a relevant degree and:

• Demonstrable ability to produce clear, concise and well-structured code
• Excellent C or C++
• Experience of working with embedded devices in Linux (including testing)
• Experience of packaging systems, or the construction and management of firmware images

DSP/audio experience would be a big plus. And as a senior software engineer you will help to mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to design decisions.
