Software Developer - Data Engineering (25511)

In this role the systems you design will process terabytes of new data each day; the whole system is heading to petabytes. To handle this you will need some experience of cloud systems, but your core software will be either Python or C++.

As the Software Developer you will have good experience in data engineering. In this role you will work with large-scale image and video datasets. Hence you will be able to enhance data collection and data processing methodologies. Your software fundamentals can be backed up by excellent grades and a top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university. Further, in your career so far you will have gained experience in most of the following:

• Previously built and deployed ETL workflows for continuous data delivery
• Previous experience in the design of scalable systems
• Good working knowledge of containerizing applications and workloads
• Significant experience with a language such as Python, C++, or Scala
