The ideal candidate will have:

• Professional software development experience using high quality JavaScript and a modern server-side approach (Ruby on Rails would be ideal, but experience in C#, Java, Python etc. will be considered)
• A sufficient knowledge of databases and SQL to work with a variety of large datasets
• Enthusiasm for your work, and an interest in helping create compelling and informative interactive works
• Full permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.

It is likely you will have a good degree in a technical subject from a top university, backed by good A-level grades. Any additional knowledge of environmental issues, geospatial or GIS software development would be welcome.
