Performance tuning of graphics algorithms

This is a challenging opportunity to work on the top end computing platforms with large screen hi-res graphics. They are looking for engineers with either an HPC background or good working knowledge on how to speed up graphics software. They are a small, yet well-established company based in Central London who work on Linux-based platforms for image processing.

You will have a broad software background, but mainly focused on C/C++ on Linux systems. Fundamentals will be backed up by excellent grades and a top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university. Examples of your skill set will include some of the following:

Excellent knowledge of either C or C++
Experience of Linux system development
Other software including OpenGL and scripting languages
Working knowledge of high-speed network technology
Exposure to streaming IO subsystems
A good understanding of performance tuning for both CPU and GPU algorithms

You will join a team of friendly, dedicated developers working in an exciting industry. The product is a creative real-time environment for film production which runs on purpose-built Linux multi-GPU workstations with a high-performance IO subsystem.
