Product Designer - household product (25565)
Apply your user focused product design skills to this innovative electrical product concept within a start-up at an exciting point in their growth. Whilst just a handful of people today, they plan to double in size in the next few months. Their intention is to hold video interviews while the UK has travel restrictions in place.
Previous experience of developing consumer products is fundamental to this role. Further to that, knowledge of user focused design approaches and especially usability testing experience would be a bonus.
They recruit the best engineers demonstrated by excellent grades and a top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university. During your career so far you will have gained experience in most of the following:
- Excellent knowledge of product design techniques
- Experience of developing consumer products
- A working knowledge of SolidWorks and creating drawings
- Previous experience in the design and build of prototypes
- Good working knowledge of moulding design
- A broad understanding of engineering principles
- A bonus would be usability testing knowledge
