A great opportunity for a ‘second jobber’ to grow your career with an established, forward-thinking company. Our client is seeking a junior Linux System Administration (SysAdmin) Engineer with a genuine interest in open source software.

You’ll be the go-to person for all our client’s Cambridge IT-related matters (laptops, ISP, fibre, local servers, WLAN, IP phones, printers etc). You’ll support both technical and non-technical users, in person and across multiple time-zones, while having the opportunity to learn and contribute to the Linux infrastructure.

A good communicator with an appetite to learn and a customer support mindset, you’ll have a few years’ experience with:

Linux systems administration (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu...)
Network Administration
System / Network Troubleshooting experience
