Applied Mathematician (25610)
This forward looking company seeks an applied mathematician / physicist to work on interesting and challenging cutting-edge problems. Your role will be to dive down deep into the technology stack, extracting data from a range of sensor applications to show valuable information.
Different examples of sensor applications include implantable medical devices, where optimisation is key, and computer vision for autonomous vehicles, requiring real-time responses. Hence, the successful candidate will be familiar with devising highly optimised algorithms for constrained hardware systems.
You will have an excellent academic background, including a degree (2.1 or 1st) in a relevant subject (maths, physics, computer science or electronic engineering) from a highly-ranked world-class university. In addition, you will have experience in signal processing and algorithm design with evidence of working with complex real-world data; this could be in a commercial role or in postgraduate research.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing Cambridge company with a supportive working environment that encourages creativity and career development. And, of course, there is an excellent salary with top benefits.
