Engineering Manager (25615)
A successful company based in the Cambridge area are currently expanding and seek an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow their skilled team of software and hardware developers.

Responsible for growing and managing the established Engineering Team and reporting to the Directors, the Engineering Manager will make important contributions to defining the strategy for the future of the company as well as ensuring the targets and goals are met, significantly supporting the company’s success. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for setting out the technology roadmap with the Commercial Team, along with managing the design process from product definition through to handover to production. They will also be responsible for managing technical partnerships and consultative relationships.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience with managing and developing multi-disciplined engineering teams
- An established engineering background with a keen commercial sense
- A thorough appreciation of hardware, software and firmware
- Experience with NPI, from initial concept through to launch
- Excellent project management skills and an organised approach to documentation
- A good degree (2.1 or above) in Engineering or Computer Science from a respected university
You will also need the full unrestricted right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
If you also have qualifications in project management and experience with IP identification and portfolio building, your application will stand out from the crowd.
