Senior Software Developer, Applications (25675)

This company are looking for senior coders who have great people skills for this involving role, collaborating with developers at partner and client companies. Key technologies are modern JavaScript, TypeScript and React (or Angular, Vue).

Significant commercial development experience is required. The company are a successful vendor of digital technology using custom hardware and cloud software. They are based in Cambridge, UK and the US.

You will have a good technical degree from a top university and strong A-levels. You'll be familiar with modern JavaScript or TypeScript as well as React (or Vue, Angular) and with CSS frameworks offering a good design basis (Bootstrap, Material Design).

You'll be dedicated to high calibre engineering, large scale architecture and design, coding style and quality and a test-driven approach. You'll produce excellent documentation, and want to educate and mentor others. You'll have a strong knowledge of web standards, web API development and browser compatibility. You can interpret and troubleshoot complex server-side code in other languages.

Other beneficial skills include embedded development and databases systems.

Initial work may be remote, but you will move to work from the company's Cambridge office once the UK permits, at the company's discretion. An excellent package, depending on experience, is on offer to the right candidate.
