QA Engineer (25695)

Established only a few years ago, this Cambridge team is a dedicated engineering group for a multinational company. They develop technologies used in globally available products working with internet streaming. They currently seek a QA Engineer to join them to provide technical experience in software testing of devices, firmware updates and resolving customer bugs. Key compatibility tests will include HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AV streaming.

The work is fast paced and would suit an engineer who enjoys variety and can solve problems quickly.

Requirements:

• Technical background and competence with Linux and embedded devices.
• Experience in QA engineering including writing and executing test plans.
• Experience using test management tools including Jira, Confluence and TestRail.
• Technical experience testing aspects around Wi-Fi, audio / video streaming and home networking.

The role will involve speaking with customers and internal stakeholders, so it is expected that applicants should have strong communication skills and be comfortable if put in front of a customer.
