The company is a small but highly successful Cambridge Consultancy providing specialised market expertise to a broad array of high profile international clients in the technology sector.
With complex scenarios to analyse and large investments at stake, this opportunity calls for top academics with excellent mathematics and problem-solving abilities, along with the strong interpersonal skills needed for interacting with customers.
Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their plans and the prevailing market conditions in their locality, building mathematical models to quantify the effects of possible courses of action and identify opportunities, and presenting your findings.
Whilst currently remote working due to the impact of Covid19, this role normally involves substantial foreign travel (up to 30%).
You will need:
- Top academic credentials: A* at A-level in Maths and A*/A in either Physics or Further Maths (or equivalents), AND a 1st or high 2.1 degree in Maths, Statistics or Physics from a top-ranking university (either an integrated Masters or Bachelors followed by a Masters).
- Significant relevant internships or work experience
- Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.
