Quality Manager - Life Sciences (25747)

This Cambridge start-up company develops highly sensitive assays for use in cancer diagnostics with the aim of improving patients’ lives. They have developed a unique technology which allows oncologists to target therapies effectively: by monitoring treatment outcomes; by evaluating recurrence in patients; by ongoing screening of at-risk groups.

The company has recently moved into new lab facilities and seek an experienced Quality Manager to devise and implement a QMS to meet regulations. This is a senior position, working closely with the senior team to set up document control systems and implement quality improvement projects. The Quality Manager will set the standard across the company, ensuring staff are fully trained in the QMS, and work with accreditation authorities in planning assessments.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in biochemistry or similar.
• Experience of Quality Management with at least three years’ experience working in a regulated environment
• Evidence of either implementing or maintaining a QMS to ISO 13485
