Software Developer (Web) (25817)

This scientific technology company are developing a molecular diagnostics toolset to be used by biotech and pharma customers. Their next phase of development is in the software interface for analyses. With initial data analytic tools being built, they are looking to add to their team an expeirenced Software Developer to architect and build the web front-end. This is a greenfield project, so the person appointed will have a huge say into how tasks are implemented and how best to build this platform.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in computer science, physics, maths or similar.
• Demonstrable experience in architecting and building front-end web tools on top of a data analysis platform back-end.
• Broad modern coding experience including projects based on cloud technologies. Exposure to DevOps tools would be desirable.
• Experience with bioinformatics would be beneficial.

As data can be from clinical samples, it is important that applicants can demonstrate experience of programming procedures and builds following medical device and IT security standards (eg: ISO 13485 and ISO 27001).
