Software Development Engineer (25842)

An industry-experienced Software Development Engineer is wanted to join this established team to work on a broad range of projects applied for acoustic signal processing. The scope of the work includes firmware deployed on undersea devices as well as communications and navigation.

This position would fit a graduate who has experience with robust code - understanding how to write succinctly and able to pick up new technologies as required.

Requirements:

• Strong academics including A/A* in maths and physics at A-level. and a 1st/2.1 degree in computer science, engineering or physics. Possibly Masters level qualifications.
• Demonstrable experience with C or C++ (ideally both). Further exposure to embedded software, C# or JavaScript would be desirable.
• An interest / exposure to algorithms used in acoustics or signal processing.

This is an excellent opportunity for a bright software developer to work on mathematically applied coding projects. In return, there is a competiitive remunerations package. Note offices are based close to Reading, Woking, Guildford, and Basingstoke.
