Electronics Engineer (25986)
This well-established group provides technology solutions to companies within the aerospace and defence sectors. This new role is for an Electronics Engineer to work on cutting-edge technology for innovative projects in areas such as cybersecurity, autonomous systems and communications and sensing technologies.
You must have a degree in electronic engineering from a highly-ranked university with the ability to work beyond the purely technical and to encompass the broader skills essential to a vibrant consulting business.
Whilst excellence in hardware design using high-speed digital electronics is essential, you will be capable of thinking beyond the electronics design itself with an ability to analyse and solve system level challenges.
You will have a broad spectrum of skills coupled with deep specialism within at least two of the following:
- Extremely high throughput digital communications
- Analogue design, especially sensor interfacing
- RF and microwave electronics
- Power electronics
- PCB technologies
Additional knowledge in FPGA firmware or embedded software is also of interest.
You must also be in a position to easily obtain UK security clearance.
