Mechanical Engineer - R&D (26021)
Have you industry experience as a Mechanical Engineer, and are you keen to challenge yourself by working on multidisciplinary projects? Are you looking for a supportive company, where you can develop your skills and gain further technical leadership experience?
This renowned engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer who will work on medium and high volume products for the medical device industry. The role provides ample opportunity to participate in all aspects from requirement gathering, design and build, and testing of prototypes.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable project experience in device development (from concepts to manufacture) within a regulated market (medical device, automotive, aerospace or similar).
- Experience with SolidWorks for 2D and 3D CAD including technical analysis and modelling.
- Exposure with technical project leadership and keen interest to develop these skills.
- Strong communication skills including client presentations. Exposure to consultancy or business development would be desirable.
It is expected that applicants are mechanical degree holders, and are keen to take the next step in their career as a mechanical engineer. They will embrace challenges through technical aptitude and from support from the company.
