Senior Electronics Engineer (26100)
This role has considerable scope to influence advanced hardware design and development for high-tech industry. It encompasses digital, analogue, firmware and embedded work. This product company is well established in Cambridge and a major name in their field with a strong client-base.
You will have:
- Significant expertise designing and implementing analogue (ideally RF, wireless and/or sensors) and high-speed digital hardware
- Embedded C firmware skills
- A good degree (1st or 2:1) in electronics or a related subject from a top university
Plus familiarity with commercially-used hardware and software tools, tests and processes. Further assets would include project management and knowledge of any of: Altium Designer, embedded C++, assembler, Python, PLC, EMC, network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP), Linux/Unix.
Candidates with commercial acumen, strong analytical skills and/or diagnostic expertise would find a use for any of these qualities.
This is a full-time role at well-equipped Cambridge offices. Remote working may be discussed during interviews, and flexible working hours are common and long standing. It's a collaborative environment, part of a successful company.
