Materials Consultant (26113)
An excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge of physical chemistry and materials to various applications where some use plastics or paper. Your broader materials knowledge and expertise will prove invaluable in gaining customer confidence. Ideally you will already have exposure to applied solutions, for example industrial applications and process chemistry.
As the Materials Consultant you will need a strong academic background from a world leading university in a relevant subject related to materials science or physical chemistry. Having a PhD in materials science is a distinct advantage, since as a consultancy their clients expect a high level of academic background.
This position is within a mixed discipline team who will assist you in actually building prototypes and proving your concepts to realise the solution. Together you will take concepts to reality, working through the entire product development life-cycle. Ideally you will possess a highly industrial-focused outlook and an understanding of reliability engineering. You will be given responsibility early on and a variety of challenging work in an environment that allows high performers to progress quickly.
Being in a position to obtain SC clearance is beneficial since then you have the flexibility to work on any of their projects.
