Software Engineer, 3D Algorithms (26124)
This friendly group of developers create algorithmic software to manipulate 3D geometry, whether used to design green tech, autonomous vehicles or amazing architecture. They are keen for bright newcomers to get involved. This is a great company to either begin or continue your career with, and the chance to work in an intellectually stimulating domain backed by a renowned organisation.
You will have:
- A good degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, with a mathematical mindset. A good grasp of vector maths and 3D geometry would be ideal.
- Good practical skills in C++, Java, Python, Rust or a comparable language.
- Some familiarity with common development tools such as Visual Studio Code (or PyCharm, IntelliJ).
- Knowledge of good software practice: choosing the right data structures and algorithms, and managing complexity.
You'll have the ability to absorb new information, algorithms and how complex products and solutions fit together. You'll have good communication skills, and an interest in collaborating with skilled colleagues.
The company offers a generous salary and package to both new starters and experienced engineers. Remote working may initially be an option; later, you will spend some time in their modern office in central Cambridge.
