Senior Development Chemist (26141)

Their innovative technology reduces water pollution and carbon dioxide production in the mass manufacture of textiles. They seek a creative Senior Chemist to join their thriving and enthusiastic development team.

The Senior Chemist will be an astute individual who is able to discern when to investigate in detail and when to make a leap in research in order to make good, practical progress towards objectives. They must be a team-player, able to inspire and work well across multi-discipline teams and will also exhibit excellent communication skills and a positive outlook to internal and external stakeholders alike.

The following skills and experience will be needed to succeed:

• A PhD in chemistry or a good BSc (2:1 or above) and commercial development experience in chemistry
• Colloid chemistry, colourant chemistry and inkjet ink design
• Evidence of making significant contributions to the development of new commercial products including process scale-up, and the ability to manage development programmes
• Good knowledge of surface chemistry and material / textile science would also be very useful

Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship, time limit or restriction will also be necessary.
