RF Engineer (26162)

This innovative technology company seeks a high calibre RF Engineer who, working with experienced colleagues, will form a collaborative part of specifying, designing and delivering blue-sky systems. This will typically be in the area of satellite communications, but also includes specialist RF support in medical and industrial applications.

You will have experience in RF engineering including electromagnetic modelling and design, with interests in areas such as: L-band to mmWave and sub THz design; antenna design and phased array; RF ASIC; practical design and test. The company has specialist labs including an anechoic chamber and microfabrication facility.

You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to complete projects which start at concept design and invention and lead ultimately to manufacture.

Requirements:

• 1st or 2.1 degree in electronic, communications or RF engineering from a highly-ranked university
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of microwave and RF engineering including electromagnetics
• Hands-on experience of designing RF comms systems
• The ability to communicate technical concepts and the value of your work clearly and confidently
