Software Engineer / Product Manager (26217)
An innovative, high-tech software and scientific company are recruiting for a technically versatile Software Engineer / Product Manager to join their team in Cambridge. Their proprietary bio-diagnostic tools are used for well-being and elite training in sports. This requires the further development and optimisation of hardware and analytic software.
Joining as a Software Engineer / Product Manager, you would take on a strategic role combining both hands-on coding skills with product management with partners as well as quality management under ISO 13485. This would cover user experience and front-end interface software development (for mobile applications) through understanding customers’ requirements to optimising how the software interacts with their custom hardware. Later, it is expected that you would architect design for AWS compatibility.
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or similar.
- Demonstrable industry experience developing similar described projects including successful product launches.
- A wide range of experience with relevant web / mobile technologies (JavaScript, React Native, Java).
- Experience working closely with customers and other stakeholders.
- Good aptitude to pick up new technologies through excellent communication skills.
Further experience with AWS services, working with medical device standards, or project management would be desirable.
This is a great opportunity to have a dual type role where you can take an overview approach to product development whilst still programming and help build innovative products. On offer is onsite, hybrid or remote working (must be based in the UK and be prepared to come to the Cambridge office for in person meetings once or twice per month).
