Bioassay Development Scientist (26221)
This lab-on-chip tech company are working on new applications areas and are looking to recruit a Bioassay Development Scientist for their Biology Team. In this role, you will take responsibility of current projects to optimise the assay performance. This includes establishing robust assay benchmarks, increasing the sensitivity of assays, and working in collaboration with others to improve and enhance the lab-on-chip technologies.
Requirement
- PhD in biochemistry or similar, with subsequent postdoc or industry experience in biochemical / molecular assays (an MSc and substantial relevant experience will also be considered).
- Demonstrable experience in development and validation of molecular and cellular assays. Exposure to single cell / molecular assay formats would be desirable.
- Experience with relevant software analysis tools and general methodologies for quantification and qualification.
- Further experience with medical device standards, in-droplet assays, high-throughput assays would be beneficial.
