Applications Bio-scientist (26260)
This Cambridge based life science company has developed a multidisciplinary instrumentation system for biological drug discovery. They are looking to recruit an Applications Bio-scientist to join them and work closely with their customers. Key responsibilities will include: demonstrations, feasibility studies, training users on the new instrumentations systems, technical support, and relaying customer feedback to the company.
The role is open to someone just completing their PhD, or (post-doctorate) has relevant work experience in a similar position. As this is a customer-facing role, it would suit someone who enjoys speaking to others, as well as can work independently.
Requirements:
- PhD in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or similar.
- Demonstrable project experience (via doctorate, post-doc or industry work) in bioprocess engineering, biotherapeutics development, or scientific instrument development.
- Excellent communication skills including documentations and presentations.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
The position works closely with technical R&D, sales and marketing teams at the company, as well as speaking with scientists at customer-sites.
