Software Test Engineer, Video Applications (26321)
Our client develops a range of software tools that enable companies in sports, entertainment and the media to efficiently manage their portfolios of video assets. Their latest offering uses AI techniques to optimise their applications.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Software Test Engineer to join them. This person should be experienced in web end-user testing and have exposure to media management or video asset platforms. This role will involve manual as well as automated testing. Good communication skills are required in order to work closely with other members within the engineering team. Key areas include: user interface testing; providing comprehensive feedback on usability and functionality; development of test plans and scripts; and ongoing improvement of test processes and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Degree in a STEM discipline (although relevant industry experience will be considered).
- Experience with web-based application testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium); coding (Python); databases (MySQL, XML); and REST API testing.
- Exposure to Agile software development processes will be desirable.
